Autodm AI was recently founded to revolutionize how companies engage with their customers and boost sales. Our first product is a pluri-competent Conversational AI able to answer a large array of customers’ questions, ask the right questions, help them specify their needs and guide them through the purchasing journey.

We are seeing traction across multiple industries (travel, real estate, domestic appliances, cosmetics, etc.) with our first solution improving leads generation by close to 200% and subsequent lead conversion by more than 40%.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced software engineer convinced that AI will change the way we live.

As a lead software engineer of Autodm AI, you will be tasked with developing the infrastructure and tools to improve our novel Conversational AI technology in our enterprise applications.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, data scientists and other engineers and will be responsible for the entire software engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust software engineering solutions and frameworks to solve our customers’ needs.
• Implement and enhance engineering best practices company wide.
• Work with data scientists to research and implement latest approaches to efficiently leverage Generative Models.
• Lead cross-team technical design discussions on application architecture, UI components, UX, back-end and third-party integration, and testing.
• Manage individual project deliverables and mentor junior team members on industry coding standards and design techniques.
• Interface and communicate with customers.
• Help grow the team. 

Our stack:

We use standard modern technologies that get the job done, we are not zealots of a specific technology stack, we use proven off-the shelf components because we don’t like reinventing the wheel. Below is our current stack which will evolve to meet our customer needs and company’s objectives:

• Svelte / TypeScript for the conversational agent interface
• TypeScript (NextJS) for our API gateway
• Python + Pydantic and FastAPI as our AI backend
• Hosted LLM services (open or closed source LLMs)
• Google Cloud Platform for hosting, cache, databases

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience; experience with typed languages (TypeScript, Python + Pydantic, Java, etc.) preferred.
• Proven track record of design and development of full stack web solutions for complex problems.
• Strong hands-on experience and understanding of data structures, algorithms, profiling/optimization, DRY code, and Object-Oriented and Functional Programming.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated interest in Generative AI technology (e.g., you know what a RAG is and how to build a simple one).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record of applying ML algorithms in a production system.
• Professional experience working with LLMs, Agents, etc.
• Degree in Computer Science, Math, or similar quantitative field.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
• Experience in leading engineering teams and projects.
