ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Due to our consistent growth, we are seeking to expand our Data, Software and DevOps team. At the core of our company, your missions will focus on:

• Build and maintain backend for interactive web applications.
• Testing and refactoring code already used in existing projects.
• Introducing object-oriented patterns in functional code.
• Profiling and optimizing Python code.

KEY MISSIONS

• Develop, optimize, update and deploy software for:

o Portfolio management;

o In-depth analysis of risk models;

o Interactive forms and data visualization;

o Export of outputs adapted to users;

o Monitoring of contracts and associated data;

o Testing and validation of existing solutions.

• Maintain the software solution with:

o Version management;

o Technical documentation (architecture design, detailed design, validation tests);

o Programming best practices.

• Support, test, and correct the tools of:

o Continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD);

o Data storage;

o Modularization and containerization of IT solutions;

o Connection to external and internal APIs.

• To participate in:

o Assessment and definition of user needs;

o Conversion of technical specifications into software development tasks;

o Bug tracking management;

o Software evolution management;

o Choice of technical solutions;

o Discussions with IT partners;

o Improving the skills of technical staff;

o Managing the access and rights of users of internal tools.

ABOUT YOU

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS ️

[Hard skills]

• Good knowledge in Python and Python API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask);
• Experience with NoSQL / SQL databases;
• Experience with Docker;
• Good knowledge in English and fluency in French;
• Familiar with production development workflow (code reviews, fast forward git policy, pair coding, SCRUM);
• 3-4 years of experience.

[Soft skills]

• Desire to train junior developers and explain software design and good practices;
• Desire to keep learning from more experienced developers;
• Desire to suggest improvements in architecture or features;
• Ability to break down epic tracks into achievable issues.

[Nice-to-have]

• Experience building interactive apps with React JS;
• Experience working with GCP or equivalent cloud providers;
• Experience in a microservices architecture;
• Experience in Agile or TDD;
• Contribution to an open-source project.
