Project Description: An experienced Red Hat Engineer is needed to join the team as a consultant for a 6-month period. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing and resolving production issues within complex IT environments and expertise in Red Hat technologies. This role involves critical responsibilities, including the maintenance and enhancement of the eTender procurement platform, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability. With the RHEL migration nearing completion, the consultant will be crucial for addressing any major issues post-migration.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the production environment of the eTender procurement platform.
• Develop and implement Ansible playbooks for automation and configuration management.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline implementations to streamline deployment processes.
• Actively respond to and resolve production issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance system functionalities and address system-related concerns.
• Document all technical procedures and configurations.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Red Hat Engineer or similar role within a Red Hat environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of Ansible for automation and orchestration.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues in high-stakes environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.
• Previous consultancy experience in IT and systems management.
• Familiarity with eTender systems or similar procurement platforms.
