Systems Application Engineer

We are delivering safe autonomous transportation by leveraging the real-time optimization technology that we have been developing since 2012.

We are looking for an application engineer who is passionate about customer satisfaction and getting real systems to work.

You will join the Commercial Vehicle Automation (CVA) team to play an important role in deploying series of full-stack autonomous driving systems for private grounds. Your role will involve integration and testing of the full-stack autonomous driving system on customer operational sites and test sites.

Responsibilities

• Deploying autonomous driving systems on customer sites and working together with customers in integrating our AD vehicles in their system.
• Preparation of new deployments using simulation and other analysis methods.
• Log data analysis and on-site problem solving, involving remote software and systems engineers where needed.
• Understanding customer requirements and defining feature requirements.
• Development of software tools for efficient data analysis and fleet monitoring.
• Cooperating with other engineers to deliver a well-integrated full autonomous driving stack.
• Travel to customers or own testing areas as required.

Requirements

• MSc or BSc in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience with real-world robotics deployments.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with at least 3 of the following:
• Robot or vehicle simulation.
• System integration.
• Customer support.
• Robotics algorithms.
• Mechanical or electronic construction.
• Vehicle testing.
• Self-driven team player with a hands-on mentality.
• CE license is a plus.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
