Your contribution

As an IT Cloud Engineer / IT DevOps Engineer specializing in Microsoft Azure, you will be responsible for managing Azure cloud services, running IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, ensuring smooth operations, monitoring, and migrating servers and infrastructure solutions to the cloud. This role also involves providing automation within the cloud environment to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities

1. Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
2. Ensure the effective running of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
3. Implement and maintain cloud governance and security best practices.
4. Monitor cloud systems and services for performance, availability, and security.
5. Implement monitoring tools and set up alerts for proactive issue resolution.
6. Perform regular system health checks and optimize performance.
7. Plan and execute the migration of on-premises infrastructure to Azure cloud.
8. Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing systems.
9. Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and migration plans.
10. Create and manage automation scripts using Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templates, and other tools.
11. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate deployment and scaling.
12. Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment and support for cloud initiatives.
13. Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and troubleshooting.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including VMs, Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL Database, and more.
• Experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templates, and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and services in Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).
