As a Support Engineer at Zucchetti Switzerland SA, you will be responsible for assisting our customers and partners with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our product as well as associated third-party integrations.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Qualify the issues reported by our offices, partners, and customers
  2. Reproduce the bug in debug mode
  3. Identify the point of the source code responsible for the problem
  4. Coding the solution – In case the bug fix is easy
  5. Work with the developer team to investigate and overcome complex issues
  6. You will be the main point of contact between the local support and the development teams
  7. Focus solely on reaching our goal: The resolution of the problem
  8. The job does not include the development of new functionalities

Your skills:

  1. BA in computer science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience of 3-5 years as a support specialist and/or software developer
  2. Experience with .NET framework and its idioms
  3. Possess knowledge of C# Object-Oriented Programming language and its idioms
  4. Have experience with OO principles and design patterns
  5. Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
  6. Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  7. Possess knowledge of Microsoft DevOps and Git version control system
  8. Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude towards conflict resolution
  9. Good written and verbal skills in English; other languages are optional
  10. Availability to travel abroad from time to time (10%)
  11. When requested, telephone availability during the week (weekends included)

Desirable skills:

  1. Understanding of web technologies
  2. Preferred POS Industry experience
