CHF 110/ Hour* - Infrastructure/Platform Engineer (2 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Our client, a leading technology company in Zurich, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure/Platform Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract. This role requires expertise in delivering platforms to users and assisting with OpenShift infrastructure CNI (Container Network Interface) migration. The successful candidate will also focus on automation using Ansible and GitOps tools.

Tasks

• Deliver and maintain platform services to end-users, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Assist with the migration of OpenShift infrastructure CNI, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
• Implement and manage automation processes using Ansible and GitOps tools to streamline infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure/Platform Engineer or similar role, with a focus on delivering platform services to users.
• Strong knowledge of OpenShift and experience with CNI migration.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and GitOps.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.

Benefits

• This is an 80% contract position for 6 months.
• The role requires a hybrid working model with 2 days on-site at the customer's office in Zurich and 2 days remote.
