Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Product Sustainability: Conduct lab tests and analyze results to ensure product sustainability.
2. Quality Marks and Certifications: Research and apply for quality marks such as EU Ecolabel and B Corp, and suggest necessary improvements.
3. Supplier Agreements: Review and document sustainability agreements with suppliers, including labor practices, environmental policy, and ethics.
4. Emissions Calculations: Calculate product and shipping emissions, and propose reduction strategies.
5. Claims Substantiation: Refine website communication with accurate and transparent sustainability data.
6. Sustainability Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with company goals.

Requirements:

1. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
2. Proactive Approach: Demonstrated ability to drive projects independently.
3. Attention to Detail: Precision in tasks and ability to spot inconsistencies.
4. Dutch Fluency: Native Dutch speaker for effective communication and documentation.
5. B Corp Experience: Successful application for B Corp certifications in the past.
6. 3+ Years in Sustainability: Minimum 3 years of experience in the sustainability field.
7. Innovative Thinking: Ability to develop creative solutions for sustainability challenges.
8. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to articulate sustainability initiatives.
9. E-commerce Specialization: Experience in sustainability within the e-commerce industry.
