Software Engineer

Job Summary

MathWorks has a hybrid work model that enables staff members to split their time between office and home. The hybrid model provides the advantage of having both in-person time with colleagues and flexible at-home life optimizations.

Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

1. Designing and developing sophisticated software.
2. Developing the next generation enterprise deployment platform for MATLAB-based analytics and Simulink-based simulation, adhering to cloud-native development methodologies.
3. Supporting a wide range of applications, from simple MATLAB function-as-a-service to complex workflows involving complete ModelOps lifecycle.
4. Supporting the design and deployment of machine learning pipelines.
5. Monitoring deployed machine learning models and integrations with modern CI/CD systems.
6. Designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant, large-scale distributed systems based on microservices.
7. Participating in the development of distributed data storage technologies to support the analytics platform.
8. Collaborating with other engineers to build high-quality software.
9. Working closely with a tight, agile team that iterates quickly to fulfill the dynamic needs of MathWorks enterprise customers.
