In few words

We’re looking for a Senior Python developer to join our client’s team in the commodity trading industry.

• Collect and analyse current and future needs in order to develop functional and technical specifications.
• Develop Python scripts to answer business needs, in accordance with good technical practices.
• Takeover the developments carried out by Citizen Developers.
• Deploy Python applications with CI/CD pipelines using our DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Prefect2, ArgoCD…).
• Collaborate and assist businesses in the digitalization and automation of their tasks.
• Be the privileged link between business users and the IT department.
• Actively animate the developers community on Python.
• Contribute to the evolutions of existing applications (version upgrades, implementation of the Cloud…).
• Participate in testing, training, maintenance, and support activities.
• Ensure the sustainability and stability of the systems developed.
• Participate in optimizing server resources, maintenance of workflow, and support activities.
• Higher education in computer science (Master / School of Engineers).
• You have at least 4-5 years of professional experience in a similar position.
• You have very good development skills, particularly with Python, and master several frameworks (like Django, Flask, Dash…).
• You have very good skills on Docker.
• You already work with Azure DevOps.
• AWS skills are appreciated.
• You have a high degree of autonomy.
• You are dynamic, methodical, rigorous, and curious.
• You are an educator and gifted in communication.
• You are willing with a strong team spirit.

Job conditions

• Your first interview with one of our recruiters will be over the phone. The recruiter’s role is to understand your path and listen to your personal and professional aspirations.
• Once you have been in contact with our teams, we will organise a technical evaluation of your expertise with one of our staff members.
• An in-person interview with a Business Manager will then be organised to introduce you to the assignment or project we think would suit you best.
• Finally, after any doubts are cleared up during the previous steps, the recruitment process ends with a hiring proposal.
