We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT Network Specialist (f/m/d) with solid technical expertise in network infrastructure and a deep commitment to maintaining the reliability and security of our network services. In this role, you will be instrumental in deploying and overseeing our network systems, ensuring they align with the organization's objectives and operational needs. Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, and Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF)
  2. Further development of existing zero-trust network architecture
  3. Drive network operations and monitor network telemetry by performing analyses to identify patterns that reveal errors and unexpected problems
  4. Ensure high availability and security of network services using best practices
  5. Contribute and/or take lead in network projects
  6. Maintain Site-to-Site VPNs
  7. Manage Domain and DNS services
  8. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (such as CIS, GDPR, DORA)
  9. Document network configurations, processes, and changes, including disaster recovery
  10. Facilitate seamless knowledge transfer across the team
  11. Support reporting concerning network incidents
  12. Demonstrate willingness to participate in an on-call service rotation, ensuring continuous coverage and support for network incidents outside regular working hours

Experience

  1. 5+ years of experience in network operations, design, and network security
  2. Completed technical university degree or equivalent education
  3. Demonstrated expertise in managing and operating cloud networks, including Microsoft Azure Network components, such as WAF, NSG, VNets, LoadBalancer, VPN Gateway, and Azure Firewall
  4. Experience with zero-trust network architectures
  5. Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, DNS, and security principles
  6. Combine a solution-oriented, enthusiastic team approach with independent, responsible work ethic, consistently upholding high standards of quality
  7. Ability to analyze complex network incidents, providing actionable recommendations for mitigation and prevention
  8. Fluent in English; German is considered a plus
  9. Must be located in Switzerland or willing to relocate
