We are seeking a *Physician Assistant* to join our *Gastroenterology (GI)* team in *New Windsor, NY*.
This role is ideal for:
* A *Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1 Year experience in GI* preferably-looking to grow in a thriving, team-based specialty setting
*OR*
* A *Primary Care PA* with *at least 5 years of experience* who is looking to *transition into GI* and receive structured training and mentorship
*Duties:*
* Work directly with board-certified gastroenterologists in an outpatient-only setting
* Perform comprehensive GI-related patient assessments, follow-ups, consults and prevention guidance
* Manage chronic GI conditions providing treatment, management plans, preventative care plans and help with care coordination
* Order and interpret labs/imaging/diagnostic tests including endoscopy and colonoscopy
* Provide patient education and collaborate with other healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary support staff to coordinate patient care
* For primary care candidates: you'll receive *mentored GI training* and gradually transition to full independence within the GI team

* Physician Assistant with *experience in gastroenterology* (clinic or hospital-based) - Preferred
* Experience in managing GI conditions, interpreting endoscopy results, and collaborating with GI physicians

* Strong interest in transitioning to GI specialty

*Position Highlights*
* *Outpatient only* – No weekends or nights
