Senior Frontend Engineer – Up to 70k – Manchester/Remote – Automotive SaaS ECOM have teamed up with a tech company that build products for the automotive industry in a truly unique way, and they are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to craft stunning user experiences and bring a higher level of engineering practises to an already highly performing team. If you're passionate about cutting-edge technology and driving innovation, this role is for you! Our client is renowned for its ground breaking software delivery engine and commitment to high engineering standards. Their product simplifies vehicle purchasing and revolutionises automotive financing. They're now expanding their market leading UK products globally, setting new industry standards. The Role: As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with other frontend developers and be a mentor to more junior developers that are eager to learn. Together, you and the team will craft micro frontend applications that redefine automotive commerce. Your expertise in the frontend will drive technical excellence and innovation across projects. Key Responsibilities
Lead technical aspects of frontend development projects, collaborating with frontend/backend engineers, Product teams, QA and commercial when required. Scope project requirements, conduct technical workshops, and produce specifications. Drive software craftsmanship and maintain high engineering standards.
Requirements
Extensive experience in frontend development, with proficiency in Angular. Previous exposure to automated testing, TDD, and continuous delivery practices. Proven track record of deploying multiple times a day in a fast-paced environment. Logical engineer who keenly avoids over-engineering solutions. Holds high quality code in a delivery focused setting. Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Karma, Cypress, or Protractor) Competency with CI / CD pipeline to release software safely and effectively.
