Embracing a promote-from-within philosophy, Sherwin-Williams provides a clear path to advance to a Floorcovering Operations Manager or Field Technician position after completing an initial 8-to-12-week training program.
This program offers flexibility and growth potential across a national landscape, as Sherwin-Williams Floorcovering caters to professional clients in every major market across the United States. The typical schedule entails 44 hours a week, with the possibility of evenings and weekends.
Throughout the program, you will collaborate closely with facility leadership, sales, and regional management to oversee significant business operations. You will develop crucial insights related to facility management, customer service, product knowledge, installation techniques, and client development, which are essential for driving the team’s success. Additionally, you will engage with commercial consumers, such as large property management firms, builders, and contractors, to share and sell our premium floorcovering materials.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring visa sponsorship.
Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Must hold a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience in retail, sales, or a customer service role.
Experience in leadership roles supervising others or leading teams.
Prior work experience in a team-oriented environment.
Experience selling floorcovering or related products.
Familiarity with timekeeping or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Willingness to relocate for future positions.
Fluency in more than one language, particularly Spanish.
