We are looking for aData Managerwith high proficiency in DataEngineering and Data Science to takefullownership of our Data Core operations.This is a key position with high responsibility thatwithholds a huge satisfactionas you'll be closely workingwith C-Level andtake part in the company's main decision making.

Based in Barcelona and reporting directly to the CDO, you will have the opportunity to work withData Scientists, ML Engineers,Data Engineers and Data Analysts as well as with the CRO, Growth Managers, PM Director, QA Manager, Game Managers and other key positions in the company.

Your future responsibilities and scope:

• You will own the Data StackInfrastructure including its Availability, Scalability and Data Quality
• Design Architecture, Data Models and Data Pipelines based on good understanding of the Tech side (GCP, Streaming, etc.) and theBusiness Logic side
• Lead the Data Scientists and review their models quality
• Perform hands-on contribution to new implementations
• Perform Code Reviews
• Improve and embed ourCI/CD architecture
• Manage a smallData Core team including Data Engineers, MLand Data scientists
• Build the Data Core teamroadmap based on Foundation improvementprojects as well as solutions for different Madbox business requirements
• Work closely with the CDO, CRO,Analytics Manager, Tech Producer, Tech PM andthe Growth team
• Agile management of Projects to meet timelines,business needs, OKRs and priorities
• Present and communicate clearlyyour ideas, intentions, team and tasksstatus and investigations results to colleagues and to the Executive management.

The profile we are looking for:

• Master in Engineering, Data Scienceor Computer Science
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Big Data/Cloud systems architecture, pipelines implementation, Data Modelling, ML/DS models in Prod.
• 2+ years of experience in team management includingleading employees, building roadmaps, agile PM and presentation of results to C-Level
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and their different Data+AI related services
• Experience setting up and monitoringoptimized CI/CD
• Deep understanding of Data Science models solutionsfor complex business requirements
• Experience monitoring the results of different Algorithmsand continuouslyimproving their accuracy and reliability
• Advanced proficiency and experience in Python and SQL
• Autonomy and ability to make decisions and make projects move forward while keeping transparency and continuous updates to all relevant stakeholders
• Great communication skills: straight to the point, focused on constructive feedback, positive mindset
• Fluent communication (full English proficiency) with the rest of the team, engaging anddemonstrating leadership while being deeply hands-on
