We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating room, acute care and/or diagnostic radiology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray and other modalities.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Position patients correctly and operate X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Follow protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
Experience:
- Prior experience as an X-ray Technician in acute care and/or diagnostic radiology.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and understanding radiographic techniques.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
