Join Our New Later Living Team – Now Hiring Carers! Earlier this year, we launched brand-new Later Living services in Bellshill and Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, and we’re looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join us as Later Living Carers. Later Living Carers positions available: (1 x 15 hours, 3 x 25 hours) What you’ll be doing as our Later Living Carer:  As a Later Living Carer, you’ll support older and vulnerable adults to live independently in their own homes within our developments. From personal care to meal support, your kindness and reliability will help our customers feel safe, respected, and valued. Purpose of the Later Living Carer role: Work within a team to ensure customers are supported to live as independently as possible within their own homes; providing personal, emotional, and social care and support in line with assessed needs promoting positive outcomes for customers. What we’re looking for in our Later Living Carer: Experience in care or working with older/vulnerable people SVQ in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) Strong communication and basic IT skills A respectful, inclusive approach to working with older people A team spirit and willingness to support others What we offer you in return as a Later Living Carer: Hourly Rate: £13.00 Hours: 15–25 per week on a rolling rota 1 role at 15 hours per week; 3 roles at 25 hours per week Shifts: Flexible morning and back shifts (7:30am–10:00pm), including weekends Contract: Permanent Location: On-site within and between our Later Living developments in Bellshill and Motherwell Start Date: December to January Paid training, development & SVQ qualifications Generous annual leave & pension contributions Paid SSSC registration & PVG check Uniform & free parking A supportive, inclusive team culture Real opportunities for career progression Please note: this role is subject to satisfactory interview, references and a PVG check. You will be required to register with the SSSC, complete mandatory training within a timeframe, and the commitment to studying for an SVQ in Care & Support if you do not already hold this qualification. We can only accept candidates residing in the UK who must already hold the legal right to work in the UK and if successful will need to provide evidence. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorships for international applicants, or candidates currently working in the UK on a sponsored visa as we are unable to assist with renewal upon expiry.
