Elementary School Teacher

Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of diverse learners
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and fosters a sense of belonging for a small ratio class room
- Use effective instructional strategies to facilitate student understanding and promote critical thinking skills
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices
- Utilize early intervention strategies to support students who may require additional assistance
- Implement behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful learning environment
- Provide individualized instruction or tutoring for students who need extra support
- Incorporate technology into instruction to enhance student engagement and learning
- Collaborate with education administration, special education teachers, and support staff to address the needs of students with autism or other special needs
- Utilize library services to enhance literacy skills and promote a love of reading and lifelong learning

Requirements:
- Valid teaching certification/license ( Preferred Not Required)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of effective instructional strategies, curriculum development, and assessment techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents/guardians, colleagues, and support staff
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for supporting struggling learners
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and experience implementing appropriate instructional strategies for students with autism
- Proficient in written communication for lesson planning, progress reports, and other documentation purposes
