For one of our prestigious customers located in Vaud, Switzerland, we are seeking a System Administrator & Technical Service Owner to manage the Autodesk Vault application and act as the primary liaison with customers and suppliers to ensure the quality of technical services. As the Technical Application Owner, you will be the main point of contact for all technical inquiries, ensuring that the service aligns with the non-functional requirements of our customers. You will play a key role in the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the application and associated technical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration & Application Management:
  • Manage and maintain the infrastructure, servers, and databases associated with Autodesk Vault.
  • Oversee updates, patches, and backup/restore processes.
  • Document processes and ensure optimal configuration based on user needs.
  • Supervise the full application lifecycle, including release planning and security updates.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer technical and service-related issues.
  • Participate in discussions on non-functional requirements with customers.
  • Negotiate and collaborate with technical owners and suppliers to ensure that all technical service components are well-defined, supported, and evolved as needed.
  • Work with the procurement department for supplier contract management.

Design and Implementation (BUILD):

  • Define functional and non-functional requirements based on customer needs.
  • Define performance, availability, backup/restore, and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Organize technical release planning and ensure necessary documentation is in place.
  • Approve architectural designs, access procedures, test results, and supplier contracts.

Support and Continuous Improvement (RUN):

  • Ensure the delivery of technical services in accordance with OLAs and customer expectations.
  • Contribute to incident resolution and root cause analysis activities.
  • Supervise licensing compliance, supplier relationships, and documentation updates.
  • Organize and lead regular service review meetings to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate on change management, including presenting changes to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) when necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in system administration with specific expertise in Autodesk Vault.
  • Skills in managing customer and supplier relationships in a technical context.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows Server environments, SQL Server, and ITIL processes.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end application and technical projects with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Education:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ITIL certification is mandatory.
  • Certifications in system administration is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, combining system administration and technical service management.

Attractive compensation based on the candidate's profile. The position is available immediately with the possibility of remote work (up to 40%).
