ATTA Elevators is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager at ATTA Elevators Vancouver is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations across Modernization, Service, and Maintenance departments. This includes inventory control, equipment safety compliance, procurement coordination, and shop organization. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and resource readiness to support field and project teams.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain all Modernization and repair equipment, including slings, hoists, and hoisting gear
- Oversee material reception and staging, verifying packing slips and quality prior to procurement
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure certifications are current
- Manage inventory levels for commonly used items across both shops
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free shop environment
- Maintain stock of all required PPE and ensure safe handling of tools and materials
- Coordinate delivery and tracking of test weights for all departments
- Receive and distribute parts ordered through Modernization, ensuring proper approvals
- Assist with job start coordination and major purchasing activities
- Collaborate with field teams and project managers to ensure timely resource availability
- Communicate proactively to support scheduling and service delivery
- Ensure all equipment is safe, certified, and properly tracked
- Support training and onboarding for warehouse and shop staff
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork
- Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Qualification & Skill Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse or operations management
- Strong understanding of safety standards and equipment certification
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional coordination and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency with inventory systems and procurement processes
- Experience in construction or elevator industry preferred
- Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred
