Description:
Under the direction of a supervisor in the Office of Information Technology, the candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integrating solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. The candidate will liaison with different program offices, evaluate user requests, document functional and non-functional requirements, architect, develop and deploy solutions and ensure that the systems meet the desired specifications.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical field.
Experience: Seven (7) years + of experience in application development activities, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object-oriented programming, and Client Server technologies.
Preferred Education/Experience: • Experience in the Salesforce declarative environment; hands-on Salesforce configuration experience • Experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs - Force.com, SOAP, REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API • Salesforce developer or admin track certifications • Experience in Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, and Oracle is preferable; experience with Agile development; document application Specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements • Develop and code solutions to specifications • Lead design sessions, identify and implement appropriate testing strategies; execute all steps required to deploy the application solution identify gaps between current and desired states, propose solutions and implement them.
