Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to join our client's technology team at RBC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading development efforts, designing scalable Salesforce solutions, and ensuring best practices are followed across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce FSC solutions.
• Develop customized applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and other technical teams to define and implement solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Work with large data sets, ensuring efficient bulkification, data migration, and data cleanup processes.
• Review and optimize existing codebase, bringing it in line with Salesforce best practices.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
• Participate in code reviews, system testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce FSC.
• Proficient in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with data management, including bulk processing, data migration, and deduplication strategies.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, and governor limits.
• Proven ability to analyze existing code and apply modernization and optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Salesforce Developer or Architect certifications are an asset.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
