This role presents a unique chance to redefine how Coinbase interacts with high-throughput blockchains, serving millions of users each day. As part of the Wallets team, you will help Coinbase users globally connect with over 50 blockchains, contributing to systems that have already processed billions of transactions. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and maintaining innovative wallet systems.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless service integration.
Participating in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality.
Troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues.
What we look for: A minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering.
Familiarity with GoLang and/or Ruby is a plus.
Experience in designing, building, and maintaining production services, especially within a service-oriented architecture.
Experience with breaking down large software systems is advantageous.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
A track record of writing high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
A keen attention to detail.
A strong passion for creating an open financial system that unites people worldwide.
Nice to haves: A background in crypto.
Experience with Solana data, indexing, and system scaling.
Experience with onchain activities, including interacting with Ethereum addresses and engaging with dApps and blockchain services.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $147,900 to $174,000 USD.
