Job DescriptionRole Overview

We are seeking a Senior Guidewire Digital Developer with strong technical expertise in Guidewire Digital Portal (Customer Engage or Producer Engage) and front-end development using ReactJS. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Guidewire platforms, Java-based integrations, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire Digital Portal solutions (Customer Engage / Producer Engage).
• Build responsive and scalable front-end interfaces using ReactJS (Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle).
• Integrate RESTful APIs and web services with Guidewire back-end systems.
• Work closely with teams managing Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center to ensure seamless system integration.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, or similar standards.
• Conduct debugging, performance optimization, and code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment strategies.

Required Experience

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Digital Portal (Customer Engage or Producer Engage).
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development using ReactJS.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Deep understanding of Guidewire back-end systems and integration with the portal layer.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web service integrations.
• Proficient in Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Guidewire Digital Framework 10.x or later.
• Exposure to cloud deployment (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Redux, Material UI, or other front-end libraries.
• Knowledge of the insurance domain, particularly policyholder or agent portals.
• Guidewire Digital Developer Certification is a plus.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $68.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
