We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to work INDEPENDETLY and LEAD a team. This role mainly involves installing, but not limited to maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in both residential and light commercial settings. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.
*Responsibilities*
* Install HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating and cooling systems.
* Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems.
* Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople for projects requiring welding, plumbing, or appliance repair.
* Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in HVAC installation or a related field.
* Ability to install equipment.
* Knowledge of property maintenance practices and equipment repair techniques.
* Familiarity with air conditioning systems, ammonia refrigeration, schematics, and HVAC components.
* Ability to weld and plumb as needed for installations or repairs.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
* Relevant certifications in HVAC or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
