Million Victories is an independent game studio developing and publishing innovative MMOs on mobile and soon on PC. The studio has finalized a Series A fund raising, to get the means to achieve its ambition: becoming a cross platform MMO world leader.

Million Victories already launched its first game, Million Lords, a real time strategy game of a new genre, with a solid and steady growth.

Your mission

You will be key to Million Lords scaling.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for aggregating and analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive our business forward. You will support strategic initiatives across marketing, product, customer experience and have direct input into key decisions. Your expertise in user behavior analysis, campaign performance, and predictive modeling will be crucial in helping us understand and optimize our games.

Your role
  • Collaborate with the backend team to design and maintain database schemas and structures to support large datasets aggregation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of user behavior, segment users to identify patterns and trends, and provide recommendations based on data findings.
  • Analyze marketing performances to optimize strategies.
  • Implement predictive models to measure players’ LTV.
  • Develop and implement dashboards for marketing and product teams to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement reports for other stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all data processes.
  • Manage and mentor a skilled data analyst.
What we expect

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Data Analyst to join our team, an autonomous and rigorous profile with 5 years experience in Data Analysis. You must be fluent in English and have relevant experience in the mobile industry.

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with platforms like BigQuery.
  • Strong knowledge of data aggregation and ETL processes.
  • Experience in Excel and programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience in user segmentation and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
  • Proficiency in cohort design and analysis.
  • Ability to analyze product features and user acquisitions campaigns.
  • Ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactive in identifying analytical needs and recommending business actions.
  • Business oriented with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach to tackling challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, AWS).
  • Familiarity with mobile analytics tools (e.g. Firebase, Appsflyer, Adjust).
  • Successful experience in management.

The contract for this position is a CDI (permanent contract), based in Lyon (69).

Salary: depending on profile and experience.
