For a project with our finance client in Zurich Sud, we are looking for an experienced Senior Kafka / Openshift Engineer 80% .
Tasks and Responsibilities:


Securing operations in the areas of Openshift and Kafka: responsible for operating and engineering Kafka and OpenShift to ensure the security of the services

Solution analysis and documentation

Managing the container storage (Portworks)

Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana

Containerisation of applications

Batching of Kafka Cluster

Your profile:


Many years of experience in operating OpenShift and Kafka clusters , ideally within the finance industry

Proficiency in container storage, ideally Port works, and familiarity with image registries, ideally Quay

Strong knowledge in Git, Argo CD, Customize, and Helm as well as monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana

Experience in automating processes and workflows using Ansible, GIT, and CI/CD

Proven experience in a RHEL environment with good shell scripting skills

Experience with Red Hat Satellite and knowledge of NetBackup and storage (HDS) is an advantage

Networked and service-oriented way of thinking as well as willingness to take on cross-technological tasks

High sense of responsibility and quality awareness as well as proactive action

Fluent in English, German is a big plus
