Head of Process Analytics Engineering

We are seeking a Head of Process Analytics, Engineering & Maintenance to lead a team of specialists in process analytical technology (PAT) within a complex chemical production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in spectroscopy and industrial process analytics.
• Develop strategies for PAT analytics, working with tools such as OPUS and Siemet.
• Guide measurement techniques for chemical processes, including gas phase analytics, polymerization, catalytic adjustments, and reaction monitoring.
• Apply expertise in chemometrics, gas chromatography (GC), and spectrometry to optimize process control.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, adapting to different communication styles and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
• Ensure knowledge transfer, skill development, and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. or similar in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in process analytics within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial sectors.
• Strong expertise in spectrometry, chemometrics, and analytical instrumentation.
• Understanding of chemical reactions and process monitoring techniques.
• Prior experience with analytical equipment manufacturers or as a service engineer is a plus.
