AWS Cloud Architect with Oracle DBA experience - Fulltime - Remote Responsibilities Extensive experience in migrating Oracle databases to the AWS cloud platform, specifically with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), and Oracle Database. Plan, design, and execute Oracle database migrations to AWS cloud infrastructure. Utilize AWS DMS and SCT to convert schema, migrate data, and ensure compatibility with AWS cloud services. Develop best practices, documentation, and training materials for Oracle to AWS migration processes. Stay current with AWS services, Oracle technologies, and industry trends related to database migration and cloud computing.
Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration and migration. Extensive experience migrating Oracle databases to AWS, with in-depth knowledge of AWS DMS, SCT, and Oracle Database. Expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly AWS DMS and SCT. Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Experience with Terraform (IaC) and AWS Lambda functions. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and orchestration tasks. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Database - Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
