This includes implementing design concepts and space planning for new store openings with the CBO, coordination with vendors, and oversight of logistics and installation. This position is located in-office 4 days a week (with 1 day remote) at our Central Store Support office (Rockville, MD). Travel is required for store visits as needed. Responsibilities

Creates concepts and pitches ideas independently for approval by CBO/CEO for campaigns. Design, edit, and manage Print Your Own (PYO) signs based on requests and store needs. Manage design process to ensure store opening signage and store revamp signage meet deadlines. Design permanent and temporary exterior store signage. Coordinate campaigns - concept and design signage and graphics, order from vendors, build WordPress pages and coordinate with in-store sign coordinators. Design and update labels for MOM’s private label products. Design graphics for social media pages. Design and maintain graphics for the company website. Work with vendors to ensure that set deadlines are met. Coordinate production and troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the printer. Collaborate with departments for new store openings and projects to ensure a smooth process. Consistently communicate with teams at Stores and CSS through various communication channels. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. 5-7 years related design experience. A solid understanding and demonstration of user-centered design principles. A compelling portfolio of distinctive work showing a breadth of experience: branding, ideation, social, websites, UI/UX, print. Able to develop simple and elegant design solutions to complex design problems. Proven ability to uphold brand and style guidelines. Strong leadership and communication skills. Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite (most importantly: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and MAC operating systems. Exceptional written and oral communication skills; expertise in cross-functional collaboration. Willingness to experiment, comfortable trying new things, and not afraid to fail. Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize work and manage a workload. Take ownership and pride in your work, with careful attention to all details both in creative production and management of the work. Ability to problem solve and self-teach new technologies. Be a team player that can work easily in both large team environments or independently. Be communicative, flexible, and precise under aggressive deadlines and high-pressure situations. Experience with CAD. Preferred Skills

5+ years’ experience in field or career. Experience with Premiere Pro, Apple iMovie, and WordPress (video editing a plus!). Prior experience with project management software (specifically Asana). Certificate and/or experience in Environmental Graphic Design. Experience with Production. Knowledge of CSS/HTML. The hiring range for this position is $76,000 - $88,000. We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and competencies.
