The Impact You’ll Make
As the Food Safety Sanitation Coordinator, you'll be the go-to expert for ensuring the sanitation and cleanliness of our production environment. You’ll play a key role in monitoring, verifying, and improving sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory and food safety requirements.
Your efforts will directly impact:
Sanitation effectiveness by monitoring chemical usage, preoperative verifications, and environmental condition.
Production success by ensuring on-time start-ups and a clean, compliant environment
Audit readiness & compliance through sanitation KPI tracking and master sanitation scheduling
Workplace safety by leading training initiatives and enforcing Lockout/Tagout procedures
What You’ll Do
Serve as the sanitation lead team lead for the 3rd shift reporting to Safety Sanitation Manager
Verify chemical usage and sanitation processes to maintain food safety standards
Conduct daily sanitation verifications and report KPIs such as micro results, damaged equipment, on time start-ups, audit scores, assistance with budget
Track and manage sanitation inventory to ensure proper supply levels and chemical safety compliance
Provide training to team members on sanitation procedures and compliance expectations
Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
Ability to work 3rd shift (overnight) and occasional weekends
Strong attention to detail and leadership skills
Lockout/Tagout experience
Physical ability to stand, lift, push, and pull for an entire shift
Nice-to-Haves:
Certifications in food safety or sanitation
Experience with sanitation management or quality assurance
Knowledge of environmental monitoring programs (EMP)
Ability to speak Spanish or multilingual skills
Experience with chemicals and food safety procedures
