KJ is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing team in either our San Diego, CA, or Portland, OR office. In this role, you will focus on designing multipage documents that support our sales team, playing a key role in the proposal process. As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with the Graphics team to produce compelling visuals that enhance business marketing, sales, and communication efforts. Your expertise in design and attention to detail will ensure high-quality deliverables that align with company standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities As a Graphic Designer, you will be serving as a supporting team member for marketing, sales, and communication initiatives across the company.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Coordinate the collection and assembly of graphic materials for marketing, sales, and/or communication, including but not limited to, multi-page proposals, large-scale printed materials, social media graphics, presentations, infographics.
You will be designing, editing, and producing layouts and graphics for small to mid-sized proposals, awards, and conferences. Actively participating in marketing maintenance and asset management (e.g., Open Asset).
Assist with the production of social media posts, website graphics, advertisements, and internal initiatives with HR, recruiting, communication, and intranet support.
Build and maintain relationships with internal clients. Provide support for external meetings, events with prospective clients, teaming partners, and future employees. Leverage these relationships to find ways in which our team can better support the business.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art Design or Marketing or a minimum of one year experience working as a graphic designer.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to use Adobe products (InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator). Experience with InDesign is required.
A portfolio is required for consideration.
Ability to interact professionally both internally and externally at all levels of an organization. Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
Ability to work independently and/or as a valuable member of the team.

Salary Range Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $55,000 to $68,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
