We are currently looking for a Cloud Solution Engineer to join their team and play a crucial role in their migration to the Azure Cloud. The role will involve designing and implementing cloud infrastructures, managing complex networks and databases, and leading the migration of on-premise applications to the cloud.

Wer Sie sind

  • Cloud Experience: Proven experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure, and a strong understanding of cloud services such as Azure Virtual Networks, Storage Solutions, and Azure DevOps.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates to automate cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Networking & Database Management: Experience managing complex cloud-based networks and databases, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
  • Migration Expertise: A track record of leading or contributing to successful cloud migrations, particularly from on-premise environments to the cloud.
  • Security Best Practices: Solid knowledge of cloud security, including but not limited to Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, and firewall configuration.
  • Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in a similar role, ideally within the financial services or banking industry, where security, compliance, and high availability are critical.
  • PLUS: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Lead Cloud Migration: Spearhead the technical migration of BEKB’s legacy applications to Azure Cloud, ensuring the seamless transfer and modernization of services.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and develop cloud-native applications, leveraging Azure services to enhance scalability and flexibility for enterprise needs.
  • Automation & Security: Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform or ARM templates. Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructures through best practices.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with DevOps, development, and operations teams to ensure a smooth integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of cloud solutions.
  • Technology Leadership: Be a strategic leader and advisor, guiding the bank’s teams through complex cloud migration and transformation initiatives.
