We're seeking a Business Analyst Consultant in our Health and Human Services Practice to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact. Overview North Highland is seeking to hire a Business Analyst Consultant to help our Public Sector clients optimize the efficiency and reliability of their Medicaid Enterprise System (MES). Responsibilities Use knowledge of business analysis and process as well as effective project management skills to plan and lead work streams with small teams in the Mediciad/MES Modernization space. Manage own activities and those of team members to deliver desired business outcomes. Focus on quality completion of deliverables. Work directly with clients as a visible and engaged member of the team. Qualifications 5+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience in the MMIS/MES Modernization Space. Strong BPMN experience with expertise in analyzing and documenting business processes, gathering and validating requirements, and creating detailed specifications to guide technical teams. Experience performing data analysis. Experience facilitating stakeholder collaboration. An ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates. A demonstrated track record of successfully working on large, complex Medicaid Enterprise System consulting engagements, including roles that involved managing and interfacing with senior‑level client executives. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives, and the community at large. An entrepreneurial mindset, including an excellent ability to uncover new opportunities for account growth and impact. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. A master’s degree and/or applicable professional certifications are bonuses. The ability to travel to fulfill client requirements and project needs, and for personal development.
