À propos

The Business Analyst will serve as the business interpreter between pricing/commercial teams and data engineering, ensuring that pricing models, model maintenance, analytics, and reporting make correct and effective use of enterprise data. This role will focus on how information is used, and will collect requirements and designs, tests, and validate pricing models, analytics, and reporting so data engineering is able to focus on formalization and scalable production systems. Responsibilities
Understand and interpret business activities, including commercial nuances, pricing behaviors, and data meaning. Translate identified nuances into updates to pricing models, analytics, and reporting logic. Design and maintain pricing models, assumptions, and experimentation frameworks. Define business requirements for dashboards, reports, and self‑service analytics. Validate standardized reports and models correctly reflect business reality as new acquisitions are integrated. Partner with Data Warehouse and ERP Infrastructure teams to formalize data ingestion and automation requirements. Produce clear functional specifications for the data engineering team to implement. Create test scenarios, prototypes, and proof‑of‑concept models, including limited manual data manipulation or loading in non‑production environments, to validate concepts before formal engineering implementation. Analyze pricing and cost historical data to identify patterns, trends, cohorts of products and customers, and provide business performance perspective to the management team. Project‑manage both pricing and commercial request lists that are open and in progress with Data Engineering/Infrastructure IT teams. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or 5‑years’ experience as a Business Analyst. Experience with system integrations, data mapping, or interface coordination. Experience with major ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Oracle, QAD, Infor, or similar). Experience with Snowflake, data lakes, and raw unstructured data for research and experimentation. SQL, Python, and other experience for data analysis, validation, or troubleshooting. Familiarity with building and understanding pricing models constructed from historical and future inputs. Strong skillset in documentation, testing, and stakeholder communication. This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all requirements and responsibilities and is subject to change without notice based on the needs of the business and/or department. EIS Legacy is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
