Position Summary The Growth Customer Sales program focuses on acquiring new business from large, mid‑sized, high‑growth advertisers and their agencies. The role leads a dedicated sales pod in NewYork, driving new revenue and operational efficiencies while cultivating existing customer relationships. Role and Responsibilities Revenue Ownership & Forecasting: Own the team’s revenue quota, manage accurate pipeline reporting, oversee quarterly forecasting, and keep reps accountable to pipeline hygiene. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 Account Executives, set clear performance expectations, build individual development plans, and foster a culture of accountability. Sales Process & Coaching: Implement a consistent sales methodology from prospecting to close, and coach reps on articulating value propositions that link Samsung solutions to client outcomes. Hiring & Talent Development: Partner with recruiting to attract, onboard, and retain top sales talent, building a robust candidate pipeline and a high‑performance team culture. Executive Engagement & Deal Support: Maintain executive‑level relationships at key accounts and agencies, join seller calls and high‑stakes negotiations, and support deal acceleration while developing the team in real time. Cross‑Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Marketing, Agency Development, and Monetization to surface market feedback, align go‑to‑market priorities, and secure resources for competitive positioning. Industry & Competitive Intelligence: Maintain a sharp view of the CTV/OTT landscape, translate market insights into strategic direction, and incorporate them into coaching moments. Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of digital advertising sales experience with deep familiarity in the video/CTV ecosystem; prior experience at a video publisher, DSP, or SSP preferred. Proven ability to recruit, onboard, and retain sales talent. Strong forecasting discipline and comfort owning a team revenue number. Player‑coach mindset: maintain executive relationships while actively supporting reps in the field. Experience navigating entrepreneurial and established corporate environments. Track record of instilling a hunter mentality – building new business pipelines from scratch. Executive‑level communication and relationship management skills. Ability to simplify complex topics and coach others to do the same. Builder’s mindset – create structure in ambiguity and drive initiatives forward with minimal direction. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Preferred: 3–5 years of people‑management experience with a proven record of building high‑performing sales teams. Compensation Base salary: $150,000 – $200,000 for a candidate based in NewYork. Compensation may vary based on experience, market, and internal equity.
