The role of the Social Care Worker is to provide high-quality care and support to individuals who avail of our services.

We support individuals to reach their full potential and to live meaningful and fulfilling lives through the personalised supports and services we provide.
This role will include the following responsibilities on a day-to-day basis: Supporting individuals to plan, organise, and manage their daily activities and routines.
Assisting individuals to access and actively participate in their local communities, promoting inclusion, independence, and social engagement.
Supporting individuals in education, training, skills development, and the achievement of their personal goals and aspirations.
Assisting individuals to develop and maintain independent living skills, including cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and maintaining family and social relationships.
Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of, and adhering to, all Company policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
Working flexibly across a 24-hour, 7-day service to meet the needs of the individuals supported and ensure continuity of care and support.
The above job specification is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all Skills Requirement A Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Social Studies, or a related discipline is essential.
Registration with the relevant professional body, including CORU registration where applicable, is required.
Previous experience working in a social care or support setting is desirable, but not essential.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals to live fulfilling, meaningful, and independent lives.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and professional relationships with individuals, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A full driving licence is required, or candidates must be actively working towards obtaining one.
Flexibility and reliability to work across a range of shifts in line with service requirements.
