For our MIR and AMMEGA Sales team, we are currently looking for an Outside Industrial Sales Representative. Responsibilities Sell conveyor belting and industrial rubber products; report to the Sales Manager. Initiate cold calls, travel throughout the assigned territory, and engage new, existing, and prospective customers to develop a book of business. Demonstrate product knowledge using samples or catalogs. Prepare surveys of customers’ equipment and product needs. Quote prices and prepare sales contracts for new and existing customers. Collaborate with inside sales representatives and other support staff to keep account activities current. Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts. Ensure timely submission of necessary information for national account reporting purposes. Provide delivery estimates to customers; investigate and resolve customer delivery problems. Requirements Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Valid driver's license. At least five (5) years of sales experience; industrial sales experience strongly preferred. Professional verbal and written communication skills – must effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to lift heavy materials (primarily during initial training). Occasional bending, stooping, upper body & arm rotation; frequent pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, reaching, and some climbing may occur (primarily during initial training). Leadership acumen.
