Position Industrial Security Analyst (Level 2) or Principal Industrial Security Analyst (Level 3) – located in Clearfield, Utah. This leadership role will be filled at Level 2 or Level 3.
Role Responsibilities
Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
Conducts security education classes and oversees security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Manages program security compliance and operations across multiple functions – PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Investigations, and Document Control Management.
Position Details This position will be 1st shift, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off. Basic Qualifications (Level 2)
2 years of Industrial Security experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; OR 0 years of Industrial Security experience with a Master’s; OR an additional 4 years of Industrial Security or related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have active U.S. Government Secret security clearance current within 6 years with the ability to obtain and maintain special access programs.
Knowledge and familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), as well as DoD Manuals and other U.S. Government security manuals.
Experience with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).

5 years of Industrial Security experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; OR 3 years of Industrial Security experience with a Master’s; OR 1 year of Industrial Security experience with a Ph.D. OR an additional 4 years of Industrial Security or related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have active U.S. Government Secret security clearance current within 6 years with the ability to obtain and maintain special access programs.
Knowledge and familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), as well as DoD Manuals and other U.S. Government security manuals.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Active Top‑Secret clearance.
Familiarity with SIMS, DISS, and NISS.
Excellent leadership, writing, and organization skills, enabling effective communications with team members, fellow employees, and government officials.
Extensive background in classified programs and thorough understanding of government security regulations.
Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time‑sensitive deliverables. Hands‑on, self‑starting, disciplined, and detail‑oriented individual with ability to work independently in a high‑volume environment.
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
Salary Information Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 – $98,300.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 – $122,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for long‑term incentives. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
