Job Details Location: ST LOUIS, MO 63103 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $46,500.00 - $52,000.00 per year Position Purpose The primary goal of this position is to play a vital role in promoting the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri and growing our audience in our service region. This position will drive and execute digital marketing through social media, e-mail marketing, website content management, and other digital materials and deliverables. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, exceptional organizational and project management skills, and a high degree of creative thinking. This role supports all agency efforts in marketing and communications, including working with colleagues inside and outside the department. Core Job Responsibilities Social Media Content Creation Lead Social Media Strategy & Execution Creating, scheduling, and publishing social media content across platforms Utilize unique and compelling storytelling and creative approaches for solid content, drive desired calls to action and engagement Manage comprehensive social media schedule with attention to detail and workflows needed to meet deadlines Monitor and report analytics to adjust strategies and meet key performance indicators and goals Assist with Digital Communications – Email Compose, schedule, and audit event and other marketing communications Routinely update email subscription lists Assist with building and sending a monthly email newsletter Assist with Web Communications Compose, review, update, and proof text for the agency website and print communications as needed Assist with Digital Assets & Events Graphic Elements Work in concert with the Marketing Manager to support the creation of graphic elements Routinely review and assess internal marketing requests and develop project plans and assets Event Photography & Videography Work in concert with the Marketing department to capture and develop photo and video assets from agency events Typical Profile of a Big Brothers Big Sisters Team Member Someone who knows how to make things happen. Education and Experience A bachelor's degree or a combination of three (3) + years of demonstrated digital marketing, marketing/communications and/or graphic design experience can substitute for the degree Proven creativity in digital marketing and/or social media project management Proven proficiency in graphic design Knowledge of integrated marketing communications strategies and best practice Maintain knowledge of emerging trends, best practices, tools, and strategies to leverage social media platforms Qualifications Maintains a strong connection with the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong planning and organization skills Fantastic customer service and interpersonal communication skills Strong graphic design and written communication skills Proven track record of meeting deadlines Strong cross‑cultural communication skills, values diversity in all forms and maintains sensitivity to the culture and demographics of our service region Work Environment / Physical Requirements Routine office schedule environment, with regular remote days each week Flexible work hours to meet the needs of schools, team members, and community leaders/organizations Must have a car, valid driver's license, and state-required automobile insurance minimums Willing and able to work evenings and weekends as required The highest level of professionalism and customer service is always expected Tools & Tech Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Procreate, Canva Social Media – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn MailChimp or similar email marketing platform WordPress or comparable web content management system Google Analytics Customer Relationship Management platform(s) Workflow management platform Compensation and Benefits Salary will be based upon professional and academic experience (salary range $46,500-$52,000). 401(k)– 3% match per year following first year of employment. 0.625 cents reimbursement on business miles and 100% of out‑of‑office parking for business meetings, etc. Immediate and 100% coverage on health and dental insurance. Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance following the first ninety days of employment. 100% employer paid daily parking in covered garage. After 90 days, staff will receive 5 days of paid vacation and 10 days of paid vacation after one year of service. Accrue one (1) day per month of sick leave (can also be used for family illnesses) – can carry up to 30 days of sick leave Two (2) personal days per year following the first ninety days of employment. Annual raises based on performance, culture, and agency's ability. Eleven (11) paid holidays.
