Position Type - Adjunct Working Title - Adjunct Instructor - Information Technology (online) Classification Title - Adjunct Faculty College/Division - College of Engr, Tech & Mgmt (ETM) Department - Management Work Location - Online Appointment FTE (%) - 0.49 Position Terms/Mo - 9 Full/Part time - Part Time Annual Salary - Per Credit Hour Basis Position Summary - Oregon Tech is Accepting Applications for Undergraduate Adjunct Instructors in Information Technology for the Department of Management. The Department of Management at the Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) is recruiting a pool of persons for possible part-time adjunct teaching positions. Qualified applicants may be invited to serve as instructors for courses across the Information Technology program including, C#.NET, Python, SQLServer, Windows Server, Systems Analysis Methodologies, big data methodologies, and data analytics. Candidates interested in adjunct teaching positions should apply online and submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three references with contact information. In your cover letter, please specify those areas or courses that you are qualified to offer and would be interested in teaching. This pool will be accessed only when an opening or need arises as early as April 2023. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than two years. After two years, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool. Teaching Modality: Appointments may include courses offered on-line or in person on campus. Campus locations include Klamath Falls, OR and online. Minimum Requirements Additional Requirements - Master's Degree or higher in Information Technology or related discipline Experience teaching Preferred Qualifications - Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard) Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams Application Information Recruitment Type - External Application Screening Begins - 04/03/2023 Job Posting Close Date Special Instructions to Applicant - Initial review of applications will begin immediately and will continue based on the needs of the Department.
