DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Audit Manager, you will communicate the progress of assignments or specified issues related to audit work to the Chief of the Central Audit Services Division and assign audit related work to various team members. You will lead a variety of audit engagements in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards. Responsibilities include evaluating risk assessments developed by staff based on audit objectives, reviewing the audit program and objectives, and interpreting agreements, contracts, policies, legislation, rules and regulations. Your team will support the Bureau of Audits IT efforts. You must adhere to all office policies, Commonwealth directives, the code of conduct, and work toward achievement of Office of Comptroller Operations and Bureau of Audits strategic plan objectives. You will review audit testing, questions developed to gain an understanding of auditee’s policies and procedures, documents prepared by staff in TeamMate, audit findings, recommendations, and final reports developed by staff.
WORK SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Full‑time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full‑time, with occasional in‑office days when work dictates such requirements. To telework, you must have a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The telework ability is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year experience as an Audit Specialist Supervisor, Auditor Supervisor, or Audit Specialist 3; or
Three years of auditing experience and four years of accounting and/or additional auditing work including or supplemented by one year of supervisory accounting or account auditing experience; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting, and three years of auditing experience including or supplemented by one year supervisory accounting or accounting auditing experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
This position requires three or more years of combined full‑time experience in the following areas:
Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS/Yellow Book)
IT standards including but not limited to International Organization for Standardization (ISO), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Standards
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Standards
NOTE: Any combination of experience equaling three years in the above areas is acceptable.
