We are currently seeking a
Mobile Equipment Operator
for our
Adams Quarry, NV
location.

Manage all daily activities of department employees Demonstrate and promote Arcosa Values Follow, promote, and enforce all safety rules and practices to ensure a safe work environment Drive Change Events, Lean Events, Goals and Company Policies Champion the ARC100 program Accurately record and report all necessary documents related to the department Utilize Lean tools to enhance production throughout while maintaining a high production standard Manage all assets & resources to ensure all required deliveries are met Manage multiple tasks simultaneously Identify issues, determine a root cause, and implement counter measure Mitigate challenges by utilizing innovative ideas and methods Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned. What You Will Need:
Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. Strong sense of responsibility; understanding of business implications of decisions. Ability to think strategically and creatively in generating solutions. Highly organized and capable of effective, efficient multi-tasking. Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees. Must have strong oral and written communication skills and must be able to effectively present information to others. Flexibility to work effectively in a changing environment. Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in priorities. Exercises good judgment and discretion in determining best method and procedure to be followed. Ability to rapidly process and comprehend large amounts of detailed information and to consider the implications and consequences of new facts and make decisions. Proven leadership skills; ability to build consensus, rally support around common goals and to motivate groups and individuals. 3 years leadership experience Great time/task management skill Excellent verbal/written communication skill Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Working Conditions and Physical Environment:
While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty. Regularly sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of hands and arms. Requires ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs. Occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching, ascending and descending stairs or ladders.
