Job Summary
The International Sales / Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Account Manager will work within the U.S. Government Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program and the U.S. Department of State, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Department of War, U.S. Army TACOM SAMD, and Defense Logistics Agency to develop Caterpillar machine and service solutions for allied military customers globally.
What You Will Do
Drive customer‑backed solution development for U.S. Government FMS sales and International Sales worldwide through the Caterpillar Dealer network.
Influence new requirement specifications for Caterpillar machine products with U.S. government FMS and International Sales customers.
Execute the entire sales process from account planning, capture planning, forecasting, proposal development, quote preparation, solicitation bidding, to contract award and award hand‑off using Salesforce CRM.
Support award hand‑off to order‑to‑delivery processes to meet the annual business plan and contractual obligations.
Provide account management support across International Sales, U.S. Government FMS Sales, and related defense contractors.
Assist in marketing plans, trade shows, industry events, and customer visits/demonstrations to enable strategic growth opportunities.
Ensure compliance with internal and external contractual and regulatory requirements while winning new business profitably.
Research and analyze past and future Caterpillar machine sales, industry trends, and competitive landscape to support sales forecasts and business strategy.
Provide analysis and recommend solutions to resolve customer or dealer service issues.

Manage day‑to‑day activities and provide services and support to U.S. Government Foreign Military Sales and International Sales via the Caterpillar Dealer network.
Additional Information
The position is located in Irving, TX.
Relocation assistance is available.
Travel expectation up to 33%.
This job is subject to U.S. rules concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, including but not limited to U.S. State Department regulations at International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. 120 et al.; the Export Administration Regulation, 15 C.F.R. 730‑774; and the Foreign Assets Control Regulations, 31 C.F.R. 500‑598 (collectively, “Export Control Laws”).
This position may require a government security clearance; therefore, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
Summary Pay Range: $128,470.00 – $192,710.00
Compensation and benefits may vary according to level, location, performance, and experience.
