As a Software Engineer specializing in Open 3D Engine (O3DE), you will be instrumental in shaping the future of AI systems through the development of high-quality, synthetic data for 3D environments. Your expertise will directly influence how AI models learn and perform, creating AAA quality digital worlds that enhance various applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize extensive hands-on experience with O3DE to design and implement robust, high-fidelity scenes and simulations optimized for AI training.
- Employ the Atom Renderer, Component Entity System, Gems, and Asset Processor to create realistic environments and interactive elements.
- Transform conceptual ideas into fully developed 3D scenes and dynamic simulations using O3DE.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with AI training requirements and use cases.
- Write clear, maintainable code in Python and C++ to integrate with O3DE and enhance development pipelines.
- Develop and optimize asset processing workflows for large-scale AI-driven projects.
- Maintain effective communication to document technical solutions and report progress to the customer’s team.
- Proven expertise with Open 3D Engine (O3DE), including Atom Renderer, Component Entity System, Gems, and Asset Processor.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience in structuring and deploying 3D simulations from concept to completion within O3DE.
- Familiarity with AWS and its integration into scalable game/simulation environments.
- Hands-on background in game development or simulation engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on documentation and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while effectively contributing to the customer’s team.
- Experience in developing or optimizing 3D simulations specifically for AI/ML training.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and asset management in complex O3DE projects.
- Prior success in remote, cross-functional teams focused on advanced 3D simulation or game engine development.
Contract position with remote work flexibility.
Compensation:Hourly rate ranges from $50 to $120.
Eligibility:Open to candidates with the required skills and qualifications, able to work remotely.
