* 3+ years of software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering experience
* Experience designing and implementing test plans to improve product usability
* Experience working with development teams to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot software issues
* Ability to design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
* Experience documenting software defects using a bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers
* Ability to identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
* Experience developing testing programs that address database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, bug retests, or usability
* Experience incorporating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
* Experience participating in product design reviews and providing input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
* Ability to document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards
* Experience planning test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
* Ability to monitor bug resolution efforts and track success
* Bachelor's degree in IT from an accredited institution is preferred per labor category description
* AWS Certified Machine Learning is optional
Primary Role
IvoryCloud is seeking a Software Test Engineer responsible for ensuring that the modernized BATS software product meets the required standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance needed for release. The ideal candidate can design and implement test plans, work closely with developers to debug issues, and integrate automated testing into a CI/CD delivery model. This role is critical because BATS modernization must deliver trusted, repeatable quality across sprint-based releases.
Experience
* 3+ years of software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering experience
* Experience designing and implementing test plans to improve product usability
* Experience working with development teams to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot software issues
* Ability to design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
* Experience documenting software defects using a bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers
* Ability to identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
* Experience developing testing programs that address database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, bug retests, or usability
* Experience incorporating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline

* Experience supporting enterprise application quality engineering in Agile or federal delivery environments is strongly desired for this program
