will architect the modernization of enterprise-class software applications. They will work in coordination with Agile development teams and other stakeholders to architect, design, build, migrate, expand, automate, and sustain a large, multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise. The

Cloud Software Architect , the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our federal customers. You will play a crucial role via the following: Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions Maintains the integrity and security of systems Supports and develops automation Develops in languages such as Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js Maintains/enhances knowledge of AWS cloud services Composes and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, et al. What You’ll Need to Succeed
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Cloud Software Architect must have: Education Training, Certificate, or Degree
required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering or relevant experience
preferred Experience:
10+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing Required Skills: Proficiency in the following languages: Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing one of the following: Terraform and/or CloudFormation Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture Linux OS experience Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers) to deliver high-quality solutions. Experience with applications using serverless architecture and/or containerization Extensive SDLC experience Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization Required Certification:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional Security Clearance Level:
Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust. Must be US Person

The likely salary range for this position is $170,144 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year plus 10 paid holidays. Paid leave and holidays are prorated. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period.
