Pioneer Animal Hospital in Leavenworth is growing!
We're looking for an associate veterinarian to join our team at Pioneer Animal Hospital - someone who enjoys practicing good medicine, values teamwork, and wants to work in a positive, supportive environment. An interest in or experience with exotic animal medicine (pocket pets, avian, reptile, amphibian) is desired to serve our growing caseload.
At Pioneer, we take our medicine seriously, but we also believe work should be enjoyable. We've built a collaborative culture where doctors and staff genuinely support each other, communicate openly, and enjoy coming to work every day. We're proud of the medicine we practice and equally proud of the team behind it.
We're an AAHA-accredited hospital with a diverse caseload that includes small animals and exotic pets, which gives our doctors the opportunity to continue learning and growing their skills. As the only exotics veterinary team in the area, we are grateful for the opportunity to treat these special patients that come to us from near and far.

Quality Medicine
We want our doctors to have the time, tools, and support to practice thorough medicine and build strong client relationships while maintaining the highest standard of care. Doctors regularly collaborate on cases, share ideas, and support one another, creating a strong learning environment for both newer and experienced veterinarians.
Our hospital includes four exam rooms and sees a rewarding mix of routine care, surgery, urgent cases, and exotics. We support a broad range of services - including laser therapy, behavior consultations, and advanced pain management - that help us provide well-rounded, modern care for our patients. Whether you're developing your skills or expanding them, you'll have the flexibility and support to practice the kind of medicine you're proud of.
