Description: Animal Dermatology Group (ADG)
is the largest veterinary dermatology business in the U.S., providing the highest quality of specialty care to pets with acute and chronic skin conditions. ADG has over 40 primary practice locations and numerous satellite locations nationwide. With over 80 doctors supporting the ADG medical team, they strive to lead in clinical practice, research and education in our field. In additional to providing advanced, dermatology specialized care to patients and supporting general practice veterinarians in our geographic service areas, ADG participates in drug/product development and clinical trials. Animal Dermatology Clinic - Richmond
is seeking a
Receptionist . We are looking for someone with the following qualities: Energetic Positive Upbeat personality Takes initiative Commitment to the needs of the clinic Punctual Willingness to teach others and share ideas Openness to diversity Adaptability to change Accountable Able to see big picture Professional and caring when dealing with patients/clients/ and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including but not limited to): Excellent client service skills Excellent phone skills Computer skill preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team oriented environment Organized and detail oriented, ability to take direction, ability to handle money accurately and honestly Possess sound decision making skills and multi-task while working in a stressful environment Duties (including but not limited to): Client service Answer phone calls Take accurate messages and book appointments Maintain charts and computer records Pharmacy and retail sales Marketing implementation Maintenance/housekeeping Financial responsibilities Education and Physical Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Must have experience working in the public (ie: restaurant, retail or service business) Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor’s office is a plus Dependable attendance is required Must be able to lift 40 pounds The ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day Benefits: No weekends Paid vacation Paid holidays Competitive wages Monthly bonuses based on clinic dietary sales Medical, dental, vision, dependent care FSA, and short-term disability benefit options Various voluntary benefit offerings, including hospital indemnity, accident, critical illness, etc. 401K with employer match CE opportunities Uniforms Discounts on services and medications for employee pets *Some traveling may be required
