Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - VCU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - VCU Health.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

VCU has a natural nail policy.

Required Skills/Experience: Can screen 1 yr with strong NICU experience. Servo I ventilator experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma experience preferred. Puritan Bennett ventilator experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience preferred.

Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. NICU, PICU, and pediatric acute care; high-risk delivery attendance; external transports with competency assessment; pediatric ED (Level 1 trauma center); heliox use; HFOV; HFJV.

Special Requests: No time off requests during the first week of the contract.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
